It was recently learned from Liuzhou Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics that the CPI of Liuzhou City in 2022 increased by 1.8% over the same period of the previous year, 1.1 percentage points higher than that of the same period of the previous year, and the year-on-year increase was consistent with that of the whole region. In general, the city’s CPI basically remained stable in 2022.
It is learned that in 2022, the CPI in each month of the city fluctuated in a moderate range year on year; the month-on-month rise and fall of the CPI were mixed, but the fluctuation range was small, with the trend basically synchronizing with that of the whole region. In January and February, affected by the increase in the consumption needs of citizens before the Spring Festival, the CPI rose by 0.2% and 0.9% month on month respectively, reaching the highest level of the year in February. The prices of eight major categories of goods and services showed a trend of “five increasing, two decreasing and one remaining the same” year on year.
